BMW Belt Tensioner 11287799851 | Genuine BMW

Genuine BMW Mechanical Belt Tensioner 11287799851

The Genuine BMW Mechanical Belt Tensioner 11287799851 is an important component of the engine’s accessory belt drive system. BMW OE 11 28 7 799 851 is designed to maintain the correct tension on the serpentine/accessory belt, helping the belt operate smoothly around the alternator, air-conditioning and power-steering drive system.

A worn belt tensioner can allow excessive belt movement, create abnormal noises and contribute to premature accessory-belt wear. Replacing a faulty tensioner helps maintain proper belt tension and reliable accessory-drive operation.
