Why Replace a Worn Front Control Arm?

A damaged or worn control arm can affect the stability and handling of the vehicle. Possible symptoms include:

Knocking or clunking from the front suspension
Excessive movement in the front wheel
Steering instability
Uneven tyre wear
Vehicle pulling or wandering
Poor handling over bumps
Worn or damaged control-arm bushings or ball joints

Replacing the complete control arm can restore the correct connection between the suspension and chassis. A wheel alignment is recommended after suspension work where wheel geometry may have been affected.
