What Does the Wishbone Bracket Do?

The wishbone bracket and rubber mount form an important connection between the suspension arm and the vehicle body/subframe. The rubber mounting helps control suspension movement while reducing vibration and impact transferred into the chassis.

A worn or damaged mounting can contribute to:

Front suspension knocking or clunking
Steering instability
Excessive suspension movement
Uneven tyre wear
Poor handling over bumps
Vehicle wandering or pulling
Increased vibration from the front suspension

Replacing a worn mounting can help restore proper suspension movement and handling.
